The evolution to Burn mirrors my own path within the sanctuary of Wave Yoga & Living over the past eight years. From stepping onto the mat as a newly trained teacher, to growing into the role of studio manager, and now embracing the privilege of ownership. This evolution reflects my journey of growth as a teacher, a facilitator, and, perhaps most importantly, a space holder.

At the same time, Burn also carries the threads of my broader journey of embodiment. From the discipline and fire of martial arts, to the sensuality and strength of pole dance, I have learned that movement can be a doorway into transformation. Each practice asks us to expand, to meet our edges, to rise, and to surrender.  

Burn emerges from that foundation with a vision to expand our community into something even more vibrant. My dream is to gather with this diverse circle of knowledgeable teachers, with each offering their unique gifts, passions, and wisdom across the full spectrum of Yoga and Pilates. In this way, our studio becomes not only a place to practice, but a place of education, transformation, and shared learning.

This space is more than a studio. It is both a homecoming and an evolution, a place to return to yourself, while also expanding into what’s possible.

Our class types

  • ࿓ Vinyassa ࿓

    A beautiful flowing yoga class where postures are linked by vinyasa (downward dogs and upward dogs). Breath and movement. these three things combine to bring amazing benefits internally and externally. The class is different every time depending on the needs of the student and what the teacher wishes to focus on.

  • ☯︎ Vin Yin ☯

    The perfect fusion session. The class starts with vinyasa to get the body moving and the energy flowing, and finishes with a deep stretching yin practice to improve flexibility and calm the nervous system. The class is different every time depending on the needs of the students and what the teacher wishes to focus on.

  • ☆ Yin and Therapeutic Touch ☆

    A non-heated deep stretching class to relieve pain and tension from the body. Lights are low and we use bolsters to get comfortable. A great class to slowly and safely restore flexibility and heal soft tissue injuries. Suitable for everyone, especially those who feel challenged by their flexibility.

  • ✧ Heatwave ✧

    A static hatha yoga class comprised of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. A full body workout which stretches and strengthens every muscle. This room is heated to 38 - 42 degrees Celsius with the therapeutic infrared heaters. A great class for beginners as we move fairly slowly from pose to pose. The infrared wavelength is a safe and effective way to draw heavy metals out of the body via sweat.

  • ✺ Hot Mat Pilates ✺

    Vibey, energising and empowering! Drawing inspiration from both classic and contemporary Pilates this class is layered to suit all levels.

  • ✧ Power ✧

    A strong vinyasa flow class which is different every time. Take your practice further with arm balances and other fun challenges. This class focuses on building upper body and core strength while getting a great stretch. The variation and the fast pace ensures that the mind and body are challenged. This class is practised in a warm room at 32 degrees.

  • ☾ Core and Glute Sculpt ☾

    A challenging but fun flowing yoga class which focuses on Core + Glute. It helps to keep us trim and toned in the key areas, but more importantly provides strength in the muscles. This brings support to the pelvis and spine. We build up strength in these key areas which leads to a more stable spine. This class is practised in a warm room at 32 degrees.

  • 3 Hour Cancellation policy on all classes.

    Due to large waitlists our classes if you fail to show up to a class or cancel it within 3 hours you will be billed for the full amount of a casual visit.

    Christmas / New Year Schedule, Long Weekends and Public Holidays are non refundable.
